Torbay pilots the UK i-Tree Eco model
Torbay is the first UK city to use an Eco model developed by the US Forest Service to assess the structural value and environmental benefits of its urban tree resource. i-Tree Eco has been used to gain an insight into tree cover in Torbay and to determine their environmental benefits and equivalent monetary value. A report on the findings has been published by Treeconomics and is available to buy from Treesource bookshop.
